The Town of Lyndeborough is accepting applications for a part-time position whose primary duty will be as an Assistant to the Town Clerk/Tax Collector, with potential additional duties as a Substitute Meeting Transcriptionist.

Assistant to the Town Clerk/Tax Collector - involves performing motor vehicle registrations, tax collection, licensing, vital statistics, record maintenance, and other applicable office processes and procedures. 

Substitute Meeting Transcriptionist - On an as needed basis, will attend and later compose official meeting minutes for the Board of Selectmen, and land use boards (including Planning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment).

Applicants should have excellent computer skills, be detail oriented and have strong oral and written communication skills. Previous Town Clerk/Tax Collector experience is a significant plus.
