The City of Redwood City is a San Francisco Bay Area community located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the technology-rich region extending from the San Francisco shoreline to the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Redwood City is the third largest city within the County of San Mateo, with over 85,000 residents. The City is currently recruiting for two Public Works Superintendents, one to oversee Fleet and Facilities and the second to manage Utilities including the sanitary sewer and storm water systems. Both positions report to the Assistant Director of Public Works. Both positions will require creative and seasoned managers with strong, hands-on knowledge of their respective disciplines and excellent administration and leadership skills. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required and a Master’s degree is preferred.
