Duties include repairing, installing and performing maintenance work on the water and wastewater lines. This position may be utilized as part of the in-house pipe laying crew replacing aged water and wastewater systems. Duties typically will require lifting / moving up to 75 pounds frequently. No experience is necessary, but a high school diploma or GED is required. To be hired at the higher pay range, must have one year of related experience, and currently have a valid Class A Texas CDL and TCEQ Class D Water and Class I Wastewater licenses. If not presently in possession of these licenses, as a condition of continued employment and to advance to the higher pay range, must obtain Class A Texas CDL and TCEQ Class D Water and Class I Wastewater within a specified timeframe. Day, evening, night or rotating shift may be required. Schedule will also include required participation in the standby rotation. Applicants must submit hours of availability with application.
