What's The Job?

Working as a Maintenance Worker Senior, you can expect to join a crew in a variety of manual skilled work related to the maintenance and repair of various tasks involving wastewater collection projects:  inspecting pump stations to ensure proper operations; lubricating equipment; cleaning float switches; locating water and sewer lines; repairing water leaks and busted pipes; repairing sewer connections; digging around sewer pipes to uncover pipes; pumping water from water holes; installing and repairing water and sewer lines; conducting smoke tests; maintaining fire hydrants. This position may also require responding to emergencies during work hours and after hour callouts.

Minimum Requirements

Here is what you must have to be considered for the position of Maintenance Worker:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Six months previous experience and/or training involving construction or maintenance work in area of assignment
• Must possess and maintain a Valid Driver’s License
