What’s The Role?

Working as a Recreation Assistant, you can expect to perform a variety of clerical and specialized duties and activities in support of recreational programs and activities including but not limited to registering the public for recreational programs, activities, or events, creating, and updating websites, calendars, records, and other databases as directed, and multidirectional communication.  Staff also responsible for program set-ups with tables and chairs on a daily basis, moderate cleaning of facility and assisting program participants throughout the day (up moving around).    This is a front facing role working approximately 25 hours per week.  This position also receives a limited benefits package including a pension plan, employee assistance program, and more!

Minimum Requirements

Here is what you need to be considered for the position of Recreation Assistant:

• High school diploma or GED
• Six (6) months experience in a recreational program area
• Basic First Aid and valid CPR/AED certification within three (3) months of hire
