Maintenance Worker (Open Positions: 1)

Performs facilities and grounds maintenance in assigned areas according to established quality standards and procedures.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of the equipment, tools, methods and materials used in facility, equipment and ground maintenance.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with other employees and the public.
• Ability to push/pull and/or lift/carry up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand labels on maintenance products, study materials, and written instructions.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work safely and take initiative.
• Ability to work after hours and on weekends.

   

  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1 year of related parks, school grounds, or golf course maintenance work experience preferred.

                   

  CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:

• Valid Texas Drivers License Class “C” preferred, with good driving record.
