The City of Raytown is searching for an Accountant ($42,828-61,183/year) to assist the Controller in performing professional accounting duties, including general ledger reconciliation, financial reporting, recordkeeping of all financial activities, and in the coordination of the annual audit. 

This person will be responsible for maintaining a variety of accounts and general ledgers for different programs within the City and performing a variety of professional accounting functions in support of the Finance Department.  Associate degree required.  A Bachelor's degree with major course work in accounting, finance, business administration or related field and  public sector agency expeirence is ideal.
