The City is hiring an Assistant City Attorney to serve on the City's Legal team, providing legal advice to City staff, elected officials and other personnel. This position appears in court on behalf of the City, negotiates and prepares contracts, and conducts legal research. This position is also responsible for drafting City ordinances, resolutions, administrative documents and other legal documents. The incumbent testifies on behalf of the City concerning legislative and other legal matters. The hiring range for this full-time exempt position is $82,000 to $92,000 annually, DOQ. The full salary range for the individual in this position includes a salary up to $122,468 annually. The first review of applications will take place on March 31st. Position Responsibilities

Work Schedule In general, this exempt regular full-time position is scheduled 40 hours per week with varying office hours, occasional work off-site at District Court, and being available to respond to phone calls at all times. It may also require attendance at evening, overnight seminars and conferences.
