An economically progressive commerce hub, Wichita Falls offers its nearly 103,000 residents an outstanding quality of life and world-class amenities in a charming, small-town atmosphere.  The City has the advantage of being located within two hours of two major metropolitan areas with populations exceeding 1 million — Dallas-Fort Worth and Oklahoma City.

The City Council is composed of seven members, including the mayor, five district representatives, and one at-large representative. The successful candidate will have strong ethics and a passion for public service.

Four years of experience in public health is also required, though eight (8) years of experience is preferred (including five (5) years of management experience).
