BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Employee will be taking payments and balancing cash drawer; Researching requests of taxes on property listings; Balancing deposits with taxes paid and banks; Computing and receiving all payments for the Treasurer’s office; Performing county-wide fieldwork for collections. Employee will be responsible for the development and maintenance of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports. Employee may also maintain and reconcile Property Tax Roll Collections and Distributions monthly report, and process revenue county-wide while assuring monies coincide with County Finance Program. Employee must perform all duties with minimal supervision. Work is primarily performed alone, either with or without directions. Worker also performs some duties as part of a select team. Employee may be required to work irregular hours, travel to Artesia or Carlsbad office to work as needed, attend job-related meetings in and out of town, and perform other duties as assigned.
