Transit Dispatcher

Provides customer service to elderly and disabled customers; prepares schedules, and dispatches Dial-a-Ride demand responsive transit service in accordance with requests, available staff resources, and Department Standard Operating Procedures. Promptly and professionally responds to customer service requests from elderly and disabled customers, and schedules transportation service, to assure timely, respectful services in accordance with DOT and ADA regulations. Equivalent to a high school diploma plus two years customer service experience. Transit systems experience is preferred. Valid driver's license required. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are desirable.
