• Conduct swim lessons in accordance with the City of Cedar Park's swim lesson program;
• Follow and enforce pool policies and rules at all times;
• Provide information and directions;
• Prepare daily lesson plans;
• Instruct five to seven children per class; multiple classes each day;
• Communicate verbally and in writing with parents and participants; and
• Clean up supplies and facility.

Acceptable Experience, Training, Certifications and Licenses

Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Must be at least 16 years of age by May 1, 2023.

During the summer months, must be able to work mornings/mid-day (8:30 am - 1:00 pm) and afternoons/early evenings (3:30 pm - 7:00 pm), Monday through Thursday with an occasional Friday.

Supplemental Information

Candidates must be knowledgeable and be able to swim: Breaststroke, Butterfly, Freestyle (front crawl), Backstroke, Sidestroke, and Elementary Backstroke.
