Job Description

Summary
The Police Officer is responsible for the efficient performance of his/her duties in conformance with the rules, regulations, and policies contained in this job description.

Desired Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Massachusetts Police Academy certification in accordance with MGL 41 is preferred.
• Ability to maintain and upkeep certification with POST.
