The City of Mansfield Engineering Department is seeking a Capital Project Engineer. See description for the minimum qualifications for this position. The ideal candidate will possess at least four years of experience designing and/or managing capital improvement projects and have the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with consultants, contractors and inspectors which is critical to the performance of this position and will be a significant factor in the evaluation of applicants. JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for coordinating and controlling engineering activities to ensure that city infrastructure, roadway, drainage, water and sewer facilities are designed and constructed to operate safely and efficiently, subject to direction and review.
