Required Education and Experience:

• Must be 15 years or older at time of hire.
• Graduation from High School or GED equivalent; or currently enrolled in school and on track for graduation.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment, and/or supplies required for the assigned activity - up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in recreational activities or providing customer service.
• Strong communication skills. 

Available Schedule: 

• Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM, some weekends as needed.

The anticipated hiring range for the Recreation Leader I position is $14.50 (first step) to $15.23 (second). Directly related experience and qualifications will be evaluated alongside others who perform work of comparable character as required by Pay Equity Law. Three steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
