Duties include monitoring and operating the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system; performing minor repairs on and troubleshooting motors, pumps, valves and remote telemetry units (RTUs); performing calibration of chlorine and ammonia analyzers; and assisting with dispatching as needed. Duties will require descending into vaults. A high school diploma or GED, plus some college or specialized training, and six months experience in water production / distribution required. Must have a TCEQ Class C Water Distribution license, basic computer knowledge and a valid Class C Texas driver’s license. Day, evening or night shift may be required; hours may vary. Must be available for emergency call-outs after normal hours. A résumé must be submitted with application.
