The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Stormwater Quality Technician in the Stormwater Quality Department. The incumbent is responsible for the ensuring general compliance with applicable environmental codes, ordinances, and environmental protection standards. A high school diploma is required, with an emphasis on science preferred. Computer experience with PC applications in Windows environment is essential for being considered for this position. An Associate Degree in Environmental Sciences is considered an asset for this position, with heavy emphasis on water quality. Experience in public speaking would also be a plus in consideration for the filling of this position. Experience in the construction industry, especially interpreting engineered drawings would be desirable.  No previous supervisory experience is required but would be preferred. Must possess at a minimum a class "D" water and wastewater license and a 40 hour HAZWOPER certification. Apps accepted until filled.  Salary:  $23.4958/hr. w/Benefits.
