Job Description

The Workforce Development Department (also known as Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas) is seeking a Community Partnership Coordinator to support join the Workforce Development team of the North Central Texas Council of Governments. This dynamic individual will be responsible for facilitating cross-agency community partnerships by engaging potential stakeholders, at the regional and local level, promoting a shared vision, goals and plans that define the roles and responsibilities of all partners.

The Community Partnership Coordinator is responsible for various projects including:

  • Initiating and overseeing the development of community partnerships by working with key stakeholders and supporting the implementation of the partnership to advance the mission and vision of each organization. Maintaining awareness of special populations and emerging community needs. Recommending new engagement opportunities and implements best practices to foster future partnerships and activities.
  • Developing Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and establishing effective outcomes and/or initiatives and promote the success of each partnership. Staying current with state and federal MOU requirements and ensures agency compliance. Engaging in and tracking short/long-term planning and monitors trends and important milestones to advance each partnership’s goals and outcomes. Routing MOUs for signature and proactively manages renewal and revision processes.
  • Serving as WSNCT liaison with external agencies, including non-profit organizations, government entities, municipalities, and other related partners to increase awareness of WSNCT customer needs, referral processes, tools, programs, and offerings available to community-based organizations. Monitoring Workforce Center referral system utilization to identify opportunities for additional collaboration. Supporting, attending and participating in key community-based partner collaborative events.
  • Developing fact sheets, executive summaries, and talking points, contributes to reports and publications and drafts correspondence to communicate the impact, potential and outcomes of community partnerships, and developing engagement strategies as appropriate. This individual may interact with governmental, municipal and community agencies to further strategic alliances for WSNCT, as appropriate.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or related area.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Compensation:

  • $67,996.00-$82,000.00 – depending on skills, experience and qualifications.
  • FLSA: Exempt

An employee becomes forty percent (40%) vested in NCTCOG's contributions after three full years of employment. An additional fifteen percent {15%) is vested for each additional year of employment. An employee becomes fully vested after seven years of employment.
