Do you take pride in yourself for a job well done? Join Team Hurst. The City of Hurst is seeking Water Utilities Distribution Maintenance Workers. The position is full-time and starts at a base rate of $13.85 per hour with an additional amount for an applicant already licensed or certified. A Water Utilities Distribution Maintenance Worker inspects, maintains and repairs all facets of the water distribution infrastructure, and assists in the maintenance of the water production/wastewater collection systems. The regular working schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The City provides 24/7 support to its water customers which requires all Maintenance Workers to be on standby rotations to include nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned. Essential Job Functions
Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid State of Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record required. A Texas Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A with a Tanker Endorsement must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment. Previous water system experience preferred.
