Description | The City of Brighton, Colorado invites applications for the position of Assistant Utilities Director. The Assistant Utilities Director is an advanced professional position that directs, oversees, supervises, and coordinates the activities of employees of the Infrastructure Department Utilities Division, including utilities engineering, water and wastewater infrastructure maintenance, water and wastewater treatment operations, storm water engineering and infrastructure maintenance, and water resource operations. The Assistant Director is also responsible for technical work planning, prioritizing, and implementing the Utilities Capital Improvement program in the Infrastructure Department. This position must work well independently and in group settings, with peers and with the public, while providing excellent, respectful customer service and human relations skills, which support the City of Brighton's mission and values.
