Description | The purpose of this position is to assist in promoting the City of North Richland Hills and supporting its Economic Development and digital communication objectives. Under direction of the Economic Development Director and in coordination with the Public Information Officer, this is accomplished by performing general administrative office activities, coordinating public meetings and updating business, economic and real estate data. Also, helping to manage the city's website and social media presence and assisting with marketing projects and strategies. Other duties include conducting research, preparing reports, creating newsletters and assisting with special projects and events. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field is preferred; adequate experience may be a substitute. One to two years of marketing and/or communications experience or a related field. Two or more years of general municipal experience or experience in marketing, advertising or digital media marketing preferred. |
