Public Information Officer

• Serves as a link between city and community, media, and other government entities;
• Supports the city’s management team and staff with external and internal communications;
• Serves as the public information officer for the city
• Prepares and delivers oral press briefings and written press releases.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relation, Journalism or related discipline; at least five years in media, local government, public relations or related areas.

Salary; $60,910 - $62,699 DOQ
