The Development and Neighborhood Services Director will be working with a very strong team of department directors and will report directly to the Deputy City Manager.  The Development and Neighborhood Services Department is an award-winning team of uniquely talented individuals, including the City Planner, the Building Official, and the Main Street Director.  The department’s 15 employees are energetic and enthusiastic individuals who are focused on the advancement and direction of the City.

The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in a job-related field and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in community planning with at least three years in a supervisory role.  A master’s degree in a job-related field is preferred. 

The salary range for this position is $94,300-$133,100, depending on qualifications and experience.
