SALARY
 $72,571.20 - $127,171.20 Annually
**Although there is a salary range for this position, salary will be negotiated depending on experience.**

THE POSITION
Works in the Innovation Program Management office as a Project Delivery Manager overseeing a variety of complex, emergent technical projects in the space of advanced mobility & intelligent transportation systems.

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

Working Conditions: May work shifts on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

REQUIREMENTS
Education and Work Experience: Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, Information Systems or a closely related field; AND four (4) years of demonstrated project management experience overseeing complex IT and/or Transportation type projects. 

Licensing and Certification: Must possess and maintain a valid Class C Driver's License at the time of appointment. 

Background Investigation: Employment with the Regional Transportation Commission in this position is contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation, including qualifying education/experience verification, social security trace, criminal history records review, and a driving history records check.

• Ability to produce critical project artifacts using PMBOK best practices.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex technical projects.
• Demonstrated experience with Intelligent Transportation Systems projects.
• Understanding data driven initiatives.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical ability to perform office and related work, including operating computers and office machinery; stamina to sit for extended periods of time; strength to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 25 pounds; vision to read printed materials; and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES 
Coordinates efforts across the organization to streamline innovation projects and to ensure cross-agency coordination & strategic alignment. Provides project oversight that includes: scope, schedule, budget, risk mitigation, and milestones. Manages and documents expected outcomes for innovation projects. Facilitates project meetings to establish execution and accountability; provides summary notes following each meeting. Drives project teams toward execution of tasks and milestones; ensures accountability. Provides program reporting on each project to ensure status is transparent. Coordinates efforts with regional partners, vendors and other agencies as required to identify synergies between initiatives. Assists the Director of Data & Innovation with grant development efforts. Coordinates efforts with the Director of Data & Innovation; assists with the establishment of data management program for the RTC to include data discovery, insights, and governance. Develops and provides presentations on various initiatives in an effort to communicate and inform on ongoing project and program status. Represents the RTC in meetings with groups or individuals; answers inquiries and provides information/assistance as required. Participates in professional development sessions or seminars; stays current on trends, innovations and regulatory developments in the space of advanced mobility. Operates a variety of office equipment, to include computers and associated software. Conducts and independently completes a variety of assigned analyses, scenarios and special projects as assigned by supervisor. Assists in management of multiple projects/deliverables as directed. All other duties as assigned.
