Description | Stormwater Asset Coordinator (Official Job Title: Business Professional I): This is professional and technical work with responsibilities and activities including the prioritization of repair and replacement work; condition evaluation of stormwater assets; preparation of stormwater repair and replacement project and coordination with multiple internal departments. Duties: Planning and Prioritization: Develop methodology for evaluation and prioritization of open channel systems and evaluate current assets. Apply existing methodology for prioritization of evaluations of stormwater infrastructure for asset data collected since August 2009. Condition Evaluation: Review Preliminary Design Reports and CCTV videos to determine cost effective maintenance and condition. Develop scope of work for pipe lining work assignments. Maximo: Develop National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES) cycles and inspection to meet compliance of permit requirements. Monitor progress of NPDES inspection and provide quarterly updates to management. Collect, review and provide NPDES inspect data for annual report. GIS: Coordinate asset collection with Survey crews and updates to the asset database with GIS staff. Update GIS Data from completed work orders and asset change forms.
Minimum Qualifications: An Associate Degree from an accredited college or university with 3 years job-related experience OR A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in job-related field; 1 year job-related experience preferred. OR 5 years professional related experience can be substituted for the degree at management discretion. Preferred Qualifications: PACP (Pipeline Assessment Certification Program) / MACP (Manhole Assessment Certification Program) certification, GIS and MAXIMO or other work management systems experience; prefer experience in repair, replacement of stormwater assets including asset management. Job Competencies: Knowledge of ArcGIS; principles of asset management; planning and organizational skills; strong communication and coordination with others. Physical Demands: Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
