Senior Assistant City Attorney/Prosecutor

Fulltime regular, exempt position that represents the City in municipal court prosecutions, administrative hearings, and appeals in District Court. Provides legal assessments and recommendations; conducts factual and legal analysis to determine whether legal issues should be prosecuted or defended based on the facts of law and evidence. Juris Doctor Degree AND three year's experience in a civil law practice; at least one year of public law experience preferred. Must be a member of the New Mexico State Bar Association, licensed to practice law in the state of New Mexico.

SALARY: $73,957.99 - $110,936.99 / Annually OPENING DATE: 05/07/19 CLOSING DATE: Continuous
