Salary Range:  $77,006 – $117,173.94

The City of Pinellas Park, FL (population: 53,144) is seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of Planning & Development Services Director.  The Director leads the planning and development review, floodplain management, community services, economic development, and Community Redevelopment Agency functions.  Responsibilities include supervision of 14 full-time staff members, budget preparation, and oversight of state and federal grants.  Knowledge of municipal planning and zoning, Community Development Block Grant, economic development, Health in All Policies, and Community Redevelopment Agencies is preferred.  

AICP required. Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years’ directly related, progressively responsible experience, including three (3) years in a lead or supervisory capacity. CFM must be obtained within a specified timeframe. CEcD highly desirable. Requires a valid Florida driver license.

Note:  The hiring salary range is $77,006 - $97,090, depending on qualifications.
