Ensure efficient and effective operation and maintenance of Water Production Plant and Distribution System Facilities. Develop competent staff; coordinate technical and administrative activities; responsible for required reporting and documentation, prepare and monitor fiscal budget, oversee projects and assist in the review of plans for projects and improvements.

Starting Salary based on experience: $58,648-$64,513 with a range up to $82,452

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Education

High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
Experience

3 years of work experience in a related field required.
2 years of supervisory experience required.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

Knowledge of:

· Knowledge of water treatment processes and procedures; knowledge of applicable state and federal requirements.

Ability to:

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test.

· Must possess a valid State of Texas Drivers License Class "C" and good driving record as defined
  by City policy.

· Must possess a "B" Surface Water Treatment License, with the ability to possess a "A" license
  within six months. Class "A" Water Treatment License is preferred.

Work Hours: Monday -Thursday: 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Fridays: 7:30 am to 11:30 am.
