Under the direct supervision of a Civil Engineer II or as directed, the Civil Engineer I will assist with coordinating water, wastewater, stormwater and/or transportation projects and review subdivision, land development, and capital improvement project plans to ensure prepared plans comply with codes, ordinances, professional standards, best practices, and applicable regulatory requirements. Valid VA driver’s license with minimum of two (2) years of driving experience;  must possess and maintain certification as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or obtain within one (1) year of hire date; Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
