Multnomah County has a population exceeding 813,300 and a diverse metro area of 2.35 million. Although the county’s beautiful and progressive city of Portland has the cultural and recreational opportunities of a large city, it has the heart of a small town. In addition to Portland, Multnomah County encompasses cities such as Fairview, Gresham, Lake Oswego, Maywood Park, Milwaukie, Troutdale and Wood Village. Portland is just thirty minutes from the Cascade Mountains, with hiking, world-class ski resorts, camping and fishing. Portland lies in the Marine West Coast climate region, marked by warm, dry summers and rainy but mild winters. The Animal Services Director is a Division Manager position reporting to the Director of Community Services for Multnomah County. Please note the following about this exciting opportunity:
The annual salary range for the Animal Services Director is $96,670 - $145,007 DOQ. This is the full salary range for the position. The finalist candidate's starting salary will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Multnomah County has a generous and comprehensive benefits package.
