Description

Performs supervisory duties for the airport parking lot including hiring, evaluation and scheduling work of employees. Works rotating shift collecting parking fees.

 

 Essential Job Duties:
  • Supervises employees working at the airport parking lot
  • Orders money needed for daily activities
  • Responds to customer complaints
  • Collects parking fees and makes change as needed
  • Complete promissory notes and works with customers who have lost tickets
  • Cleans and repairs ticket machines, gate arms and fee computers
  • Restock ticket machines
  • Conducts daily physical inventories of parking lots at the airport
  • Inventories number of parking tickets generated each day
  • Monitors daily cash drawer and change fund
  • Completes required paperwork for each shift and submits daily paperwork to supervisor
  • Assists customers as necessary with such things as directions, local information, flight information and car repairs
  • Cleans and monitors work area on a daily basis by performing light housekeeping tasks
  • Performs related duties as required

 

 Physical and Environmental Conditions:

Ability to sit, stand and drive a vehicle in the parking lot to inventory vehicles. Employee will be exposed to seasonal temperatures when collecting parking fees and performing vehicle inventories. Will also be exposed to automobile exhausts while collecting parking monies.

 

 Required Qualifications:

Employee works with employees in the work group and the public during most of the shift. Ability to effectively communicate with the public in order to receive monies or provide information. Contact will be made with other employees when working to coordinate work projects or schedule assigned shifts.

Ability to read and complete parking and vehicle inventory forms. Skill in the ability to make change, count monies and balance cash drawers.

High school diploma or equivalent plus one to three years of experience. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.
