The City of De Pere is seeking a Development Services Director to oversee the City’s economic development program to promote the growth and development of the City’s economic base, assist in the retention and expansion of existing businesses, and vigorously seek out new businesses for the City.  This position oversees the functions of the Development Services Department which includes Economic Development, Planning, Zoning, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Building Inspection and Code Enforcement.  Full position details are available on our website www.de-pere.org; click on the Jobs icon and then the Position Title.    

 

Qualifications:

 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Planning and/or Public Administration; Master’s Degree preferred.
  2. Four to five years of experience in a related field.
  3. American Institute of Certified Planners and Economic Development Finance Professional certifications are highly desirable.
  4. Valid unencumbered Wisconsin driver’s license and safe driving record.

     

            A combination of education and experience may be considered.

SalaryThe full salary range is $97,801 - $133,182 plus an excellent benefits package. 

 

Typical Work Schedule:   The normal work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Hours from Memorial Day - Labor Day are Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
