POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under general direction, the Enterprise System Analyst-SharePoint works closely with our business customers to deliver and support solutions and services leveraging Microsoft's SharePoint platform.  This is a senior-level position working with various levels of management and operational staff that requires excellent relationship management, time management, and communication skills.
 

  • Develops strong relationships with departmental customers and work closely with them to understand departments' business objectives and needs and identify opportunities for implementing collaboration, document management, process automation, and web publishing solutions.
  • Leads or supports requirements gathering, process analysis, fit-gap analysis, and discovery efforts for document management and business process redesign efforts.
  • Designs and implement no-code SharePoint-oriented solutions for team collaboration, document management, intranet- and internet-facing web publishing, workflow and process automation, and reporting dashboards.
  • Works closely with the development team and graphics/media team to design, implement, test, and deploy customized solutions and components.
  • Leads or supports testing activities including development of test plans and scripts and execution of functional, user acceptance, and regression testing.
  • Provides product training and support for departmental customers with SharePoint-related solutions and capabilities.
  • Identifies, resolves, and document issues that may impact project schedules, budgets, or quality; escalate to management as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or GED.equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
  • 5 years of experience working directly with business users on requirements gathering, process analysis, testing, and training.
  • 5 years of experience implementing no-code or low-code solutions on SharePoint 2010, 2013, and/or 2016 platforms.
  • Experience implementing workflow solutions using SharePoint Designer or 3rd part products like Nintex or K2.
  • Experience administering SharePoint site collections and sites, creating/configuring lists and libraries, working with content types, designing page layouts and appearances.
  • Experience creating project related documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3.0, JavaScript, and JQuery.
  • Excellent customer management and change management skills.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of management; effective written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well both as a member of a team and independently.

PREFERENCES:
  • Associates Degree or higher.
  • Experience implementing solutions in SharePoint Online and working with Office 365.
  • Experience upgrading and migrating SharePoint from the older version to the current version.
  • Familiarity with Business Process Model & Notation (BPMN) or other standard notation.
  • Consulting experience in the public sector at state and local levels.
  • Project management or coordination experience.
