Strategic Government Resources (SGR) seeks a Marketing & Communications Director who is excited about becoming a contributing member to our exceptional and diverse team.  SGR exists to help local governments become more successful by recruiting, assessing, and developing innovative, collaborative, authentic leaders. Primary services provided by SGR include executive recruitment, interim management placements, candidate and employee assessments, live and online training, executive coaching, executive team development and governing body retreats. SGR is one of the largest local government executive search firms in the nation. SGR’s corporate headquarters is located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro area in Keller, Texas, with satellite offices in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and throughout Texas. This position will work from the Keller office. 

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is comfortable working independently, on multiple projects, and who has strong organizational skills to serve as a quarterback for our marketing and communications approach. This person should possess the ability to listen to the needs of the various business lines of SGR and provide expert insight on how each business line can best make use of marketing. They must have a high level of curiosity and help SGR build and expand our brand as one of the top leadership development and recruitment firms for local governments in the nation. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are a must. SGR operates in an atmosphere of rapid change and the ideal candidate must embrace and thrive in a very dynamic environment.
 
The chosen candidate must have a bachelor's degree in marketing or communications or a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of five (5) years of experience after graduation. Proficiency in the use of computer and graphic design software programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is required.  The selected candidate should have experience in producing videos, webinars, and podcasts and must be strong in website management and in all social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.  In addition to understanding operations and execution, this person must be able to develop a comprehensive strategy for marketing.
