Physical Agility and Written Test: Monday, February 3, 2020 beginning at 8:00 AM

Oral Board Exam: February 3, 2020 following the PAT and Written Exam (some boards may be scheduled for February 4, 2020, depending on time constraints).

Upon submission, your application will be received and initially screened by a recruitment team. You will receive an email from gmailservices@ci.southlake.tx.us with an invitation test or a rejection notification. This email will give you all the information you need to prepare for the test date.


At this time we recommend that you anticipate that you will be invited to all test dates and reserve February 3, 2020, from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and February 4, 20208:00 AM - 5:00 PM to ensure that there will not be a schedule conflict. THERE WILL BE NO MAKE-UP TESTS OR RETESTS. YOU MUST ATTEND THE DESIGNATED TEST TIMES TO BE CONSIDERED.

Our world class Police Officers enforce federal, state, and local laws and provide police protection to  our world class citizens. This is accomplished by responding to general and critical incidents to investigate and enforce violations; patrolling geographical limits; responding to crime scenes; processing reports and transporting prisoners. Other duties include answering questions from the public; testifying in court; educating the public and preparing and maintaining reports and logs.
