GIS ADMINISTRATOR

FULL TIME: $57,541.92 DOQ

Under general direction, is responsible for the day-to-day management and executions of GIS projects and tasks.  Incumbent will analyze specific GIS needs for user departments by conducting needs assessments.  The incumbent is also responsible to assist with department-wide hardware and software budgetary items, programs, and designs, and will administer GIS applications. The incumbent will also act as the Floodplain Administrator for the City of Highland Village. Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Technology or related field with minimum of four (4) years’ experience working in a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) environment, with strong experience in ESRI’s ArcGIS (ArcMap, ArcPro – desktop and server, ArcSDE and Enterprise).  Geographical Information Systems Professional (GISP) and Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) Professional certification preferred. Certified Floodplain Manager’s certification required within 1 year of hire.

Must be able to pass CJIS background requirements.
