Performs responsible work coordinating and overseeing grants to include assisting departments in researching federal, state, and private funding sources, identifying appropriate funding opportunities, coordinating and assisting in the writing and administration of City-wide grants, and coordinating funding between departments and agencies. Work also involves independently maintaining a complete set of grant records, collecting and recording detailed municipal records to include matters of a confidential nature, and preparing and analyzing fiscal reports. Work requires independent judgment on technical problems with procedures determined by departmental regulations or legal requirements. Bachelor’s degree in business related field of study and prior experience in governmental accounting, grants, and/or writing; OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Must possess a valid driver license. (Req#2020-0105) EXEMPT $43,025.00 per year City paid health, dental and life insurance is provided for employee; the City requires 7% TMRS contribution by employees with a 2-1 city match; and other voluntary benefit plans are available.
