Now Hiring: City of Oak Ridge Personnel Director

The City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee is searching for a Personnel Director. The Personnel Director is responsible for the leadership, planning, administrative oversight and management of the City’s Personnel and Risk Management programs. The position supports the City’s vision to be an exceptional place to live, work and visit.

The Personnel Director reports directly to the City Manager.

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in personnel, business administration, public administration or related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible work experience in human resources management, including experience in labor relations and wage and benefit administration.
• Five (5) years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• SPHR, SCP-SHRM, or equivalent professional HR credentials, or be able to certify within 12 months of appointment is strongly desired.

Compensation Range

$87,734.40 - $114,067.20
