Senior Utility Maintenance Technician

This is a full-time position and the hiring salary is $38,567 +/- DOQ.

The Senior Utility Maintenance Technician serves as lead worker on an assigned crew performing specialized semi-skilled work repairing and replacing water mains and waterlines.  Work involves using a variety of procedures, hand equipment, and heavy machinery to maintain, repair and install water and sewer lines and associated equipment. Position reports to the Utility Foreman.

Qualifications

Possession of a high school diploma/GED.
 
Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related experience.
 
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

Special Requirements

Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Class A endorsement; possess and maintain a driving record that meets established Gloucester County Driving Standards.
 
Pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical examination. Position subject to subsequent physical examinations to ensure incumbent meets physical job requirements.
