Now Hiring: Assistant Director of Human Resources 

Reporting directly to the Assistant City Manager/Director of Human Resources, the City of University Park is recruiting a new, executive-level position within the organization.  This executive level position will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Human Resources Department; will serve as a member of the City's management team and assist the City Manager's office in  implementing strategic goals of the City Council.   This position will also provide advice, guidance, coaching, training and expertise to staff and the City's management team on policies, procedures, best practices and applicable laws related to equity and inclusion. 

Experience and Education

• Bachlor's Degree in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration, or related field is required.   Master's degree is preferred.  
• Four to six years of professional experience in human resources or general city management. 
• Certification as either a Professional in Human Resources (SHRM) or (PHR), Compensation Professional (CCP) and/or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) is preferred within 12 months of hire. 

Compensation Range

$91,7070 - $134,680
