Traffic Signals Technician

Performs the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of electronic traffic signals, school flashers, and related systems. Under the guidance and direction of the Traffic Signal Crew Leader, installs and maintains arterial traffic signals: troubleshoot electrical problems, troubleshoots underground wires; installs conduit systems including pull wires; ensures adherence with guideline/standards governing installation and maintenance of traffic signal systems; programs, maintains and repairs school flashers. Performs graffiti removal as needed. Equivalent to a high school diploma plus three years’ experience in the electrical field is required. Associate degree in Electronic Technology or related field is preferred.

Salary: $18.77 Hourly
