Job Summary
The Crew Leader must have the knowledge and skills to lead a crew and effectively and efficiently perform the following: installing and repairing water and wastewater main lines, laterals, and service taps, cleaning the wastewater collection system, installing and changing water meters, repairing fire hydrants, and building or repairing wastewater manholes. The Crew Leader/Operator will be required to have or obtain a working knowledge of the collection and distribution systems and will be responsible for equipment operation including light to medium sized trucks, backhoes, track-hoes, loaders, K-saws, hand tools and similar equipment used in construction and maintenance of municipal infrastructure.
