Position Summary

Finance Director  –  Salary $85,000 to $100,000 DOE.  East Stroudsburg is a University community located in the foothills of the Pocono Mountains.  Close to ski resorts, golf, outdoor activities.  1 ½  hours from New York City, 1 ¾ hours from Philadelphia. The Finance Director manages all areas of municipal finance including budget preparation and administration, cash management, general revenue collection, utility billing and collection (water, sewer, refuse), and other financial matters.  Applicants must have extensive accounting experience, preferably in municipal accounting.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications  –   Bachelors Degree in Public Administration, Accounting or a related field.  Four years Financial Management or Supervisory Experience.

Preferred Qualifications  –  CPA or Master’s Degree in Public or Financial Administration or Accounting.  Four years experience in Municipal Financial Management.
